Hemel Hempstead
Hemel Hempstead was granted its town charter in 1539 by King Henry VIII and developed in more recent times as a New Town after World War 2. It is located 39km to the Northwest of London in Hertfordshire, England. Though originally a highly productive agricultural area, Hemel has evolved and is today host to a number of international engineering and technology giants such as British Petroleum Epson, Kodak and Unisys among others.
